Like someone said ,it would depend on the level of the sea , so I guess that the Mountain in hawaii would be the tallest .If you dont like that answer ,one guy gave you the original name for everest (a double glazing company bought the rights to have it called that),however different countries have different names for it.So you would have to discover which people were in the area first and also if they ever bothered giving it a name ,some
people just dont give a ****.

There are suspicions that K2 might actually be higher than Mt Everest. Also Mt. Everest hasnt always been the tallest. It is part of a range that has grown over time, thus before something else will have been much taller than what Everest was.

Mt Everest isn't the highest mountain in the world, there is one half submerged in Hawaii that's taller. (I think it is in Hawaii, might be wrong there !!!)
