My grandaughter is 5 mo. old and her eyes remained blue. Other people say you have to wait until 6 mo. to find out really what color they will stay. I don't believe that. I have 3 kids , 3 grandchildren and many nephews and, whatever their eyes were after 2 weeks thats the way they stayed. Enjoy her blue eyes.

All baby's are born with blue eyes it is a fact and yes they will change unless someone in the family has blue eyes for example I have 5 children all born with blue eyes both my self and my children's father have brown eyes all my children have brown eyes except for my fourth he has blue eyes he is 6 years old he gets them from my father's side of the family. So it is possible for them to stay depending on the family genes but usually they change

They will likely change, especially with brown eyes of one of the parents (or both).

Kids eyes can change for up to a year.

Enjoy the deep blues while they last and congrats on the new baby!

My little brothers eyes were blue when he was born and about 2 or 3 months later his eyes changed to green. It is possible, but not for everyone. O and if they are blue they will probably turn to green or hazel or something, not anything dark like brown.

You will know in a about a month or so if they will change. My sons eyes changed from almost a navy blue color to a honey color. Sometimes they look a little green and a little blue but, it is just the way the light bounces off them. The color will not be for sure till about 9mo to 1yr.

They could change but whether they get lighter or darker is impossible to predict. I have seen kids start out with dark eyes and end up with the brightest blue ones you can imagine while other brothers and sisters of theirs stay dark eyed.

Give them another month or so for the final result to show up.

Whichever the baby ends up with is always a pleasant surprise so it is a no-lose situation whichever color turns up.

My grandson's eyes have always been blue--blue not blue gray--and they stayed. My side of the family is white, but the other side is Jewish and Latino. My Mom, brother, two sons and I have brown eyes--real brown--but my Dad had blue eyes. We are all so mixed, I think it's hard to tell how offspring will come out now days. I was really happy for the blue eyed Grandbaby, and they are really, really blue--beautiful.

The baby's eyes may or may not change in some cases there could be co-dominance and the child can have blue and brown eyes.

just about all babies are born with blue eyes, some change and some dont. so the baby could keep blue eyes if they are deep blue, or they could change

If your baby's eye color is still blue at 6 months, they will stay blue, so you'll have to wait a little while to know for sure.
If I'm not mistaken, most babies are born with blue eyes.
