Take a picture of it on a digital camera.. load it to your computer, put it on paint... take a sample of the paint color on your vehicle and using the brush feature on paint, color over what he wrote... print off the page and tape (or glue if you're brave) it to your door.
people will think you took it to a dealer and got it repainted.

When people write on the dry erase board at work with permanent marker we scribble over it with dry erase marker and it is gone.

Rubbing alcohol works very well and won't harm the paint.Use a bit on a very soft cloth (diaper or T-shirt). Don't rub hard. Just rub lightly until it is all gone. Then a bit of wax would be helpful.

Bug and Tar remover, then buff with wax. Stop by a body shop and ask them. Advice is always free (or should be).

have you tried Mr Clean Magic Eraser after that I would try wetting a dryer sheet (Downy) and rubbing the mark with it.

as long as the clearcoat is still in good shape it should come right off, try some meguiars cleaner wax and it will buff right out

we use a mr clean magic eraser and it worked but goo sold at walmart will remove it also

use non acetone nail polish remover lightly as to not scrub your paint away. use cotton balls like you would your nail polish but don't press down very hard.
