It depends on the school. I see variation even within the district. Some principals trust the teachers are following the way the district wants them done and so leave their teachers alone.
This year in my school, they got very strict and asked for every activity and the state standards that you are following. The kids recite the objectives before you begin the lesson, as they are posted on the blackboard every day-its "overkill" meaning way too much!
They drop in now and you better have the book open and be doing exactly what you wrote.
It's too bad, I can think of many times when a student's question led us to an interesting discussion that the kids remembered! There is less and less time for spontaneous learning.

This depends on the school and the district. For example, here in California, I worked in Oakland lelementary, and lesson plans were checked regularly (not every day). In the district I work now, they are not checked (in middle school). I'm pretty sure they would not be checked in college. It would also depend on the teacher's experince and evaluations. Teachers with negative evaluations would have plans checked more often.

nicely their is a few freedom in spite of the undeniable fact that it relies upon on the district. everybody has state standards. those are issues that would desire to be coated in direction of the 300 and sixty 5 days, those are designed around grades. English instructions are often broken down via Lit. and comp. Jr. English bargains with American writers, Soph. bargains with distant places writers. What you do is teach to the factors. each and every college and district has e book lists in keeping with grade point. as quickly as you get employed communicate on your branch head at your college. they'd fill in the blanks. Now some districts only grant you with the keys on your room, and that's it so which you will desire to layout each and every little thing on your type. have relaxing.
