on the computer it says free ringtones do you really get free ringtones. be honest please

No. nothing of any value is free. How else would they be in business and make money? These folks are not in the Charity business. lol

Yes you can, but look hard because most adverts tie you to a subscription which you have to cancel.

The best service is where you select and download the ring tone to your computer, then upload the ring tone to a proxy site (you then get code in your e-mail), then phone the proxy site number, enter code and hey presto, new ring tone. Its free.

Not usually. There is some kind of catch. Like you do all the internet paperwork once it says your complete you have to purchase something. Or when you give them your number they will send you text messages all the time. I wouldn't do it. That is why Verizo n has opted out of all of that kind of service.

I saw lot of free stuff ad online. They usually make you buy something before, sign up for something or just make you dance in some clown suit before handing over that free stuff.

absolutely not free.

either you get charge for the text message to send it to your phone, erroneous get a monthly subscription to an outsider vendor (ie blinko), or the tones don't work upon your particular phone.
