I don't have much experience with Plexiglas except what is on top of our kitchen table to protect the wood top. (I'm the oldest of 6 -- ages 22 to 5).
Super Glue does wonders and I've used it on almost everything and have even accidentally glued items to our Plexiglas table top. It usually leaves kinda a light haze on the table where the fumes and chemicals have spread.
I've used Gorilla Glue for many things too and have had no problems getting it to stick. I always got it cleaned up before it bonded to the Plexiglas though so I'm not sure how well it'd hold. Also, not clear.
Two part epoxy will bond most surfaces. I've used on "Glastic" (a nasty plastic/fiber glass hybrid) it when I was building power transformers. They have a 5 min. and i think something like a 3 hr. versions.
If you're not too concerned about looks. Glue it with whatever you want and put about 5 layers of Duck Tape on it and call it good. You could even use clear Duck Tape if you want, but the camouflage is my favorite.
