Not too many. I was also a psych major. The real money comes at the PhD level. I'm a business major now. I tried the profession in the Army as a mental health specialist. I went to Iraq and treated soldiers on a combat stress control team. I got burned out. You could teach in lower level education, social work. But with a batchelors the only people that will pay you well is the military.

I already have a bachelors degree, no longer in portraits, although, I understand the position you stand, because looking an enduring job is hard in my field besides. The monetary device isn't doing o.k. at present, and that is gonna worsen, which will be one clarification why you could not land something better everlasting. you should proceed to seek for a job, (it truly is what i'd do), yet something is misguided right here. photo layout is truly no longer a very dry field, per chance you stay in a small city? because in large cities, like mine, there are continuously photo layout job openings. the project is, you could not be too choosy even as searching on your first job. i locate it straightforward that you haven't stumbled on something, and that is been over a three hundred and sixty 5 days. you should ask for help at your college's occupation middle. something isn't authentic. per chance your resume desires a critique or something. you haven't even had interviews? What employers truly choose is adventure, and apparently you do not have any yet. you truly opt to both settle for a low pay initially, or heck, volunteer. Yeah, that is loopy, yet you want to do something. do not enable yet another month bypass by without getting a job or going to get your masters or take some animation courses at your community college or something to account for some time.

Although I was a Political Science major in undergrad, many of my friends were psych majors. For some who continued with that field of study, they pursued their masters and PhDs in that field. Psychology is simply one of those fields where BA/BS is just the surface of your study. To be taken seriously in this field, you need to go beyond a BA/BS.
However, if you don't see yourself pursuing a masters or PhD in psychology, you may want to consider taking on another major or minor in another field (e.g. business). For instance, with a BA/BS in psychology and business, you can work in organization or industrial psychology or you can go into Human Resources.
