I hear on here all the time people being rude about the other races, nationalities, and even genders! It pisses me off.
For example, whenever someone of color does something bad in the news, you get a bunch of people on Yahoo's! message boards stereotyping the whole entire race. What kills me is that when others are doing things such as drowning their kids, eating total strangers, these ignorant people STILL manage to make the issue a black/white thing. If I faulted an entire race for the actions of one stupid person, I wouldn't like anyone!
My best friend is gay. Lots of my friends are actually. When I hear people making comments in my presence about gays, I usually do say something. Went off this summer at a festival because of people behind me laughing at this guy infront of me who had on make-up and flashy clothes.
People should learn to mind their own business, and look away if they don't like what they see, or adapt to being punched in the mouth on the daily. :-)

First explain your position if you feel safe, then find sympathy for that person.
Hateful people are usually avoiding dealing with childhood abuse, and they have a hard task before them in order to let go of their resentment completely.
If that person can feel your sympathy, it will often terrify them, and this may make them even more hostile. Be careful.
Sometimes a thought is just as effective as a statement.

I used to get riled up but after awhile I don't even click on them. If they're really bad, I report them. Also, political and religious questions are better off being ignored because they have their own agenda and I learned as a kid not to discuss religion and/or politics with anyone that disagrees with you.

Those questions were obviously by a white guy to stir up hate. I HATE RACISTS, so yes it does annoy me.

It totally annoys me. I admit, if I find it offensive, I'll report it. Then I try to let it go. These people aren't worth being upset over.

I really hate it when people put up racist or insulting questions and or answers. Obviously their comment/question is going to be removed. Racisim is simply POINTLESS to me.
