An RV is considered a vehicle for such things. Each state varies in how guns can be transported. In WI you need the gun unloaded and in a case. Other states you dont need a case -hence gun racks in the back window of pickups!

As far as i know, an Rv isn't a house...by federal law, you must have a place of residence for your tax return. all the people i know who live and just travel in RV's use their family's address as theirs...
as long as your registered to the gun your carrying, you can bring it along, just as long as you follow the state laws...if you get pulled over just be upfront when/if he asks about any weapons...cooperation usually helps to avoid confrontation
on the other hand, what they don't know won't hurt em

You better have a permit for that gun! I would not leave home with out one! Moving Vehicle is not a house. But criminal laws let you protect your property. And at night in fear of life you have a wider interpretation of fear or loss of property. Be very careful prepay a attorney to defend you if you loose the bullet from it's cartage.

Yeah I saw a humvee with a turret on the back just the other day. Fairly sure it's a right reserved for the military and government personal. Crimestopping people in general.
