Like they just don't apply to you?

Yes, especially the one about not removing the tags from mattresses and pillows!

Seriously, I do feel exempt from rules that seem unfair, such as not being allowed to bring food or beverages into the theater. I don't drink soda and for a long time the theaters didn't sell water. So I took my own water bottle in.
Annoying rules like "always hold the rail when using the escalator" also seem breakable. I am coordinated enough to forego the handrail without killing myself, and besides, I like to keep walking if no one is in front of me.

Most of the time, no, but occasionally yes. I do feel that every rule ever made was made by a human being just like me, and should be questioned if I feel the need to.

The Bud Ice Penguin makes his own rules when it comes to stealing Bud Ice. JoBu on the other hand determines his rules by the wave of time, and the environment aroud him.

Rum Shots buddy!

Depends on the rules.

I break rules I do not agree with, but do not harm others by my breaking them.

However, if by breaking them, I put someone else at risk, I will generally comply.

In my younger years however, this was not always the case. Yet, I think that is a typical scenario for most people.

(Back then I was caught speeding doing 140mph on a motorcycle)

Sometimes. I try not to feel that way. When I do, I pull out Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Doestoyevsky. It shows the natural outworkings of such an idea, in a fun narrative form.

Actually I felt like that until I was in my early twenties. Now I'm 30 and have children. If I expect them to obey people's rules when I'm not around, I have to obey the rules myself.

I don't feel any more exempt than anyone else.

There are certain rules from which I feel EVERYONE is exempt.

For example, censorship, cumpulsion to testify against yourself, government-mandated arms confiscation, discriminatory policies, etc.

Most rules are made to be broken. Half the fun is making up your own rules.

I'm the exception which proves the rule for everyone else.
