Poverty will never be erased in the world. First of all in order to have a functioning infrastructure and economy you need to have some level of poverty. Imagine if everyone was well off do you think you would be complaining of gas prices of $3. a gallon? Since everyone is well off, gas prices by now would be well into the hundreds of dollars. Imagine walking into the super market and paying $100 for a gallon of milk. In other words you will have uncontrollable inflation.

No, The rich keep the little guy pinned down. Since the world began it is the rich that get rich off of the poor man. The rich will not let the poor man ever get ahead... and what is so sad , the rich think it is the poor mans fault if they are poor.

Yes. After I take over the world and nuke humanity off of its face. Or, easier still, I will change the definition of poverty so that nobody qualifies as being impoverished.
No, I don't. But, humanity should have it as one of its goals. While we may not erase poverty, we can do a lot to reduce it.

Not until they try to cure the health care issues. Some people will hang on to their welfare checks to keep medical insurance. Thats why we need to fix the system it is created backward. Most people would rather work but can't get insurance.
