No, I would not pay $4000 for that cat.
It really depends on the person, if so that they really want a cat and have allergic reactions to them, but at the same time are desperate people may actually do it. But for me, No would be the answer!

Allerca breed cats for people with cat allergy. Theres long waiting list and it will probably cost more than that for whole purchase and delivery. You don't get to choose colors for high demand. I might if I'm rich.

you can get a cat for free..... and i could get two of my cars for that price so um lets do the math .......... are you kidding me that's how much they cost that's ridiculous!!!!!!!!and if your woried about being allergic to the hair shave the thing as long as its a indoor cat it will stay worm.
