Not much.

Forget about impeachment it won't happen and if you think it will then you don't know how impeachment works...

The President can be removed from office through the process of impeachment. If Congress feels that the President has committed acts of "Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors" (U.S. Constitution) they can impeach him with a majority vote. Out of a total 435 congressmen, 231 are currently Republicans, 201 Democrats. An impeachment resembles a legal indictment, not a conviction, however, and not enough to remove the President from office alone. (what about the elections coming up? I'll get to that)

The case then goes to the Senate. Overseen by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Senate reviews the case and votes whether or not to convict the President. If they vote in favor of conviction by a two-thirds margin, then the President is removed from office. However, this year, Republicans hold a 55-senate majority since the 2004 elections and according to the Congressional Quarterly for the upcoming election only 11 seats in congress are undecided for the Republicans which would give the Republicans a very slight majority still in the senate it's less with 5 seats potentially undecided.

Remember these are local elections and they tend to stay in favor of the incumbent. Now if the republicans do something stupid like think they've got it made and stay home then you could have a major upset but still no impeachment.

Technically Clinton was impeached for perjury but he was not removed from office as the senate pardoned him. Impeachment proceedings themselves take a long time Clinton's took 5 years from the time the impeachment investigations started to the time the impeachment reached the senate and Bush is only president for two more years plus the fact if you impeach Bush for the war in Iraq then congress and the senate would have to impeach themselves for authorizing it regardless of any information they recieved. You'd have to prove Bush altered info submitted to congress and then he'd rank a felony for submitting a false report to congress...and that's it. Yes it's impeachable but hard to prove.

Much ado about nothing.

If the Democrats win both houses we the American people are going to be very sorry. The Democrats leaders, specially Mr. Kennedy wants to give all illegal alien amnesty, we are talking about 20 million illegals that are already in our country with out counting their families that are waiting in their country for that moment to come to the USA. Do you know what's going to happen to the benefits that the US government give to the American poor, like food stamps, medicaid, etc. Does the American people know what's at stake here? If we don't we better start learning because after November is too late.

They will do several things. First they will re initiate the fair radio act and shut down Conservative talk radio. (After all, people like Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity, and Fox news are putting out propaganda, and Air America just can't compete.)

Then they will work on impeaching George Bush, and most of his staff, with a whole bunch of Senate blue ribbon panels, and investigative hearings. If they can't come up with facts, they will entrap them with procedural errors, and prosecute them. (Kind of like Scooter Libby was indited on.)

Then they will move our troops out of Iraq, Iraq will become a Iran style terrorist strong hold. (Kind of like what happened in the 70's when a certain Democrat president let happen, and then couldn't do any thing but flap his arms, wave his hands, and generally make things worse, and prove that the democrats have no intestinal fortitude to stand up for anything.)

Personaly I belive in the American people, and they will do what is right.

Try to either throw out or circumvent the will of the people, in all of the legislation from the last five years. Then assuming they can coerce enough votes begin to move america towards a totalitarian socialist state.

Do not ever doubt the intent of the socialists.

Impeach Bush, stop windfall profits to companies rather than screw workers, appoint a Special prosecutor to investigate the oil companies for price gouging, take back the 4th Amendment, stop the money for the war!!

Fix things. First lets see a round of Congressional hearings the Republicans can't table or stop with out more votes. Also they can undo a plethroa of bad laws that happened under the Bush Admin. Actually begin dialogues with other M.E countries.
and .... a whole host of criminal prosecutions.

I hope start impeachment proceedings against the failed leader. At least start a proper investigation into the failures of 9/11. I don't think we are ever going to get to the bottom of who caused it because they have destroyed so much of the evidence. Look at what that ex mayor of New York did to all the rubble and steel.
