I don't think they do! They obviously don't know that they can use spell check either!! Drives me nuts!! There are times I am reading a question and I dont really understand what the person is asking because the spelling and or shorthand it SO bad!!!

I will readily admit I am lazy. When I am not writing a paper for school, it's nice to relax and not worry about my spelling without being judged. Guess I'm on the wrong site, because some people are just anal, no matter where they are. Oh, well. I still could care less right now. Ciao!

Some version of this question seems to come up a lot.

I think there are more people than ever trying to become proficient at English, and that's why it seems as if half the people writing use 'tortured text.'

Don't worry about it; there are still places where it counts to know how to spell and how to work the grammar.

I find most people can spell. The mispellings are because they can't type without making mistakes.

most spelling difficulties are with wierd spelled words so it does not matter. it is time we changed the spelling to something more natural and easier to learn and remember.
it is kool to be fonetik.
