To me The Mlb dint want to give the world series to canadians 3 years in a row.

What?

I'm assuming you meant to ask that, if an American League team had had the best record in the strike shortened season of 1994, would they have been awarded the World Championship by default?

The answer is a resounding no... the question itself doesn't even make sense, let alone the wording.

Are you refferring to the year of the major league baseball strike? I thought the N.Y. Yankees were in first at the time. I'm not sure, but then again wouldn't there be 2 leaders (National & American League) or more if you consider division leaders?
I wonder how they can consider the World Series the "world" series" without including or continuing on to playing teams from Japan, Cuba, South America, and any worthwhile opponents around the "world".
As far as your question I don't think it would have made a difference.

What Canadians? The world series has never been won by Canadians. . . . it's been won by Americans and Latin Americans playing in Canada!! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it eh?
