Hell, Osama, George Bush is a major embarrassment to them. Let alone every thing that he has done to this country. Do you realize that they are supporting everything they hate about the democrats. Largest government expansion, biggest deficit and more government spending the any other president ever. Sad that they have to eat so much crow that they attack with lies, half truths and innuendo's

NO!!! As a matter of fact, that banner was put there by the US Navy personnel of the ship with the okay of the
Commanding Officer of the Ship because the men and the ship had accomplished their mission and it had nothing to do with President George W. Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Stupid! It's embarassing that a left-wing idiot has once again brought up the same old know-nothing question. The crew of the carrier put that banner out. Question- Were they wrong? No. The mission was accomplished. Iraq had been overrun and we occupied the country. Why can't liberals ever come up with honest, thinking, intellectual and original thoughts or ideas? Easier to smear, right? Aw, I'm sorry if I offended you, though. How does that make you "feel"?

The undertaking changed into done...Saddam changed into removed from power and Baghdad changed into taken. You Bush bashers favor "undertaking done" to intend "international Peace executed," yet it really isn't any longer what the banner changed into about. Sorry. -Aztec276

Not being a neocon, I thought the sign meant we went into Iraq and got Hussein out of power and now were going to search for WMDs. I don't think there is anything wrong with sending a positive message of appreciation to the sailors on that ship.

Not really...To the extent that the taking of Iraq and ousting of Saddam was successfully completed...It was a mission accomplished. Remember everyone was saying that would take months and the death of hundreds of soldiers. None of that happened. The taking of Iraq versus securing a lasting peace there are two different missions.

The White House denied that they even hung the banner and said it was already there. Still more lies from Bush & Co.
Unfortunately, the Bush White House is immune to embarassment.

NO. It was very effective. They did accomplish a mission: To go capture Iraq and dethrone Hussein.
But was there any doubt? THAT's what makes the banner funny.
