First find a low clearance bridge. Then at about 40 MPH drive under the bridge. Voila. no luggage rack.
Seriously, the rack is bolted from the underside. It requires removing the headliner Shop time 2-3 hours unless you have dvd players. the holes you are left with will not be easily covered. Without a body shop welding them up and a repaint you might find some type of carriage bolt that could be bolted thru the holes. it will still leave the head showing. Not an easy job.

Just take it back to the dealer they'll do it for you i'm sure it's under warranty is'nt it?
