Well..Thank you and Bush are two things that don't belong in the same sentence. Bad economy, failed foreign policy and now a major scandal. Bush really did hit the trifecta. And I guess we can thank him for ruining our country with so much gusto.
Economically...Instead of real recovery Bush gave us rising poverty, falling income, and other dismal data. All this despite pedal to the metal low interest rates and hyper-Keynesian deficit spending far beyond anything ever seen in US history.
Bush's failed foreign policy, founded on lies, arrogance and foolishness, is costing us hundreds of $billions we don't have and squandering the lives of our troops. That's bad enough, but now we learn someone in the White House - most likely Bush's Brain Karl Rove - illegally jeopardized our national security in retaliation against a former ambassador.
To review: Bush is so bad, any of the leading Democrats can and will beat him. Easily. Despite the GOP's planned vote fraud and dirty tricks. Bush is bad news for all of us, except a few thousand elite special interests and billionaires. The best news is that with the failed Republican policies and the unraveling cover-up, the Democrats will win in a landslide. After "Bad News" Bush, this will be great news for America.

Congress just passed another $70 billion for war in addition to the $448 billion defense budget. The total now is $507 billion. As i have said before the Iraq war will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over ten years. We have 2703 service men dead and over 30,000 wounded in this Republican war. We now have a $9 trillion debt ran up by Republicans. They never pay for their own mistakes, never.
A new poll was taken in Iraq recently 7 out of 10 Iraqis want the USA out of Iraq. There is also a discussion in Iraq over a North and South break up in the works, just like Nam and Korea.
BTW, in Iraq now there are over 14,000 in prison, no charge, no lawyer, no outside contact, how would you know if your neighbor was not one of them? That is the "democracy" we installed? They are monitoring our cell phones and all internet, John Negroponte admitted to that today. He was speaking for Bush about the NIE report that leaked out. Funny how neocons cry that it was quoted "out of context" then they release a summary with a "out of context" response. Also funny how Neocons claim they never react to polls or the public wind. The reason they will not release the entire report is that it tells Americans the truth, they are data mining and they are recording Americans on the phone. That is facts.

WHo is listening to your conversations? Probably your MOM, not the US government. Read the whole report 3lines out of a 4page report that states the war in Iraq is crucial to the war on terro because if the radicals lose there it will very much hurt their recuiting and discourage others from acting out. You can go where you want it has always been a risk Americans have been the targets of radicals for 30 yrs.

Yes, I think we should all bend over and say "thank you sir, may I have another"
But really the best way to thank him will be to kick out the Bushists in the mid-term elections.
Bushism:
often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Bushcisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

I'm not a prisoner. I've traveled rather extensively with no concerns or problems. Our communications are not being monitored. The government should have the privlege of listening in on calls with certain patterns to certain countries. They are not interested in what your Aunt Tessie is doing on a daily basis. I think the monitoring is essential. How many times have you been dragged off the streets?? I can venture the answer is NOT ONCE! The stock market is as strong as it's ever been, more people working than ever before. Are you in a cave with Bin Laden or just a supporter of his?

Humanist, I will thank him when he leaves office. Not for being president but for leaving office. I think you will be able to hear the collective sigh of relief from all of the world, not just the U.S.

Actually, the report doesn't tell us anything that we didn't know. Doesn't bother me any, we have enemies, let's defeat them and get on with life.
