Hes one of my best friends. He thinks everyone is livig a lie, he cant trust anyone. Not even himself. His sister is suicidal, and he thinks his life is messed up

make it clear that ur there for him and that even if his world is falling apart that ur always gonna b there for him. Before you say this you have to mean it with your entire heart cause if ur not there for him then u will have proven to him that trusting people is something he cant do

if anything, you need to stay by his side because it seems at this point, he is capable of doing anything. let him know and make him realize that you are there for him and that you wont abandon him no matter what. this is a time where he thinks that the whole world is against him, just stick by his side no matter what he thinks. he is sure to come around sooner or later

sounds like your friend has mental health issues too! encourage him to consult with a doctor.
