NOTHING. That is why in his face, the report claims the war made us more unsafe.

He is not back up for re-election. He looks forward to his quitting day. He will enjoy his pension, his presidential benefits, and security. Leaving us screwed, fending for ourselves

Thanks, Bush!

Bush allowed 9\11 to happen????? Come on that is as ridicules as saying he caused Hurricane Katrina!(and sadly some people believe that) Bush didn't allow that to happen. 9\11 wasn't any one person's fault; how can you blame the deaths of thousands of people on our President? As far as protecting America goes, have you been to an airport recently, and why do you think our troops are over seas risking their lives right now? To protect YOU! America has removed Saddam Hussain from power and made the WORLD a safer place. We have been tracking down members of multiple terrorist groups and have been very successful with that. Just because the media doesn't report all the progress we have been making doesn't mean it isn't there. If you only rely on newspapers and TV for your information on The War on Terror then you are receiving a tainted picture of what America has and is doing to protect her people.

You've obviously been living in another country the past 5 yrs or you wouldn't make a ridiculous remark like that.Bush "allowed 9/11"? I don't think so. Maybe we should be looking at Clinton and those before him .As good as security is right now, yes it could still be better.Playing the blame game will solve nothing. The important thing is that things are much safer in the US since 9/11 and thats a proven fact.

hmm look at all of the numerous programs Bush has started to keep america sucure.

some people are complaining he has 2 many programs and that they infringe on there personal privacy.

The ports DiD you see the news a few mounths ago? The ports are
secured by the coast guard. Infact there so secure that no one with brown skin is alowed to manage them. Rember when the small arab country wanted to purchase a few of our ports and they got rebuffed?

First off, no one ALLOWED 9/11 to happen. Second, he has done a great deal to try increase the security of America. There is no way possible to insure complete security of the country as long as we have people whining about each attempt being an attack on their rights. Get a clue. If you have a suggestion or answer, by all means please come forward.

I am no fan of George, but I think your off base on accusing him of allowing 9/11.

The second comment would make more sense if you asked "considering the HUGE amount of money you've spent why aren't the ports more secure, the whatever........". They have no answer that I know of.

heavily, you're blaming republicans for 9/11? You fail to comprehend that the plans the terrorists made and experienced for surpassed off lower than Clinton... They were allowed into the rustic take flight training and plan without difficulty lower than a democrat. in case you bear in mind the progression surpassed off in 2001, that a million skill Bush changed into president for some months at that aspect. and that i do not bear in mind any democrats making a stink about position of beginning safe practices in that short era of time... I do thanks, in spite of the indisputable fact that for the prayer you presented, in spite of the indisputable fact that I doubt the single which controls the universe and my own existence separates issues in accordance to partisanship. somewhat, I pray he supplies the righteous and virtuous the flexibility.

This idiot wanted to hand over our ports to countries linked to terrorism. His Daddy and Reagan Armed, Trained, Financed Bin Laden in the 80's. He is best friends with the Saudis, the same people who have financed terrorism for years.

And now he's opening up all our borders for terrorists to have free reign. He has supported the Bin Ladens, and his family financed Iran (Iran contra), Taliban and others.

You can read it for yourselves right here in these REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVE articles.
