i just wanna know... in california (i'm not even sure state makes a difference), if a persons first 3 digits of their cell phone number are 720 (not their area code) what cell phone provider do they have? like cingular, sprint, verizon, etc???

It would vary by area code. If did some searching and found some regular phone numbers with -720-. With portable numbers you could switch carriers and still have the same number.

Thisis hard to answer now. Before the companies owiuld own the numbers and they would never change... but now with people porting their numbers between comppanies there is no real way to know for sure (without them telling you of course)
