The characters and settings and production values are very interesting to observe. Each program combines two stories, a police investigation and a criminal trial. It is based in American criminal law so people learn about justice by watching.

Parking Violations Unit! LOL!!! too funny, well I'm addicted to Law & Order, I even change my IM status as "Watching Law & Order, I am NOT to be disturb!" it's such a GREAT show. I watch it soo much I'm pretty much a qualified Paralegal!

The writing and acting are terrific. I want them to create a new version of Law and Order: Parking Violations Unit

They don't sex it up as much as CSI. I cant stand to watch that show. I love Law and Order. It has a lot of plot twists and turns. I also really enjoy the actors. My favorite ones are SVU and Criminal Intent.. I also love the drama of the crime right at the beginning, gets you hooked right away!

Because Sam Waterston and Jerry Orbach are the man!!! Hard to watch Dennis Furina and not Brisco.

good writing plus switch up characters often enough to keep you interested but not so often you don't get to know who is who
