Some people have a problem with Carlos Mencia because of the racial jokes that he makes toward other races. Of course, Mencia takes this in stride and takes the good with the bad.

He is brutally honest - that is his style. People either love him, or hate him.
Remember some of the classic comedians with raunchy, in your face humour? Richard Pryor and George Carlin, to name a few? They are legends - and Carlos Mencia will be one too.

i have liked him since the first time i saw him on a HBO half hour special quite awhile back, the only thing i got agaisnt him is he does the same ole tired raceist jokes, its always the lazy the mexican, the fast black, the goofy talkin white person, if he would do some original ones again then it would be all good

Because people don't like to acknowledge the truth about themselves.
He's hilarious, IMO, and I love that he can not only make fun of "other races", but puts his own race at the top of the list.

what comic don't do racial jokes. what ever happened to the first amendment? and most of them are stereo types anyway. people should quite trying to be politicaliy correct all the time and just have fun in life.

That guy is freakin' hilarious. Yeah, he jokes about sensitive racial issues but he pokes fun at his own race so I don't see the problem. Personally, he cracks me the &%@* up!
