I have the sims 1..Should i get the sims 1 expansion packs or get sims 2?

I have the sims 1..i have enough money for the expansions packs for sims 1 or i could get the sims 2..which should I get? expanaions packs or sims 2?

And how is the sims 2 better than the sims 1?

The Sims 2 will cost a lot more and the worst part about the game is that most computers will run slow if they are not relatively new or built to be gaming machines. To test your machine -

Otherwise, if your computer IS up to snuff, then get Sims 2! In Sims 2, your sims have genetics so that their babies inherit their traits, the babies also grow up to be adults and can have families of their own - you can create family legacies this way, carrying your favorite sims into the future.

In Sims 1, the game is different. You do not have genetics, the babies never grow to be adults -- but if you have in the complete collection, many adventures with new neighborhoods, challenges and stories are possible.

The major difference is that Sims 2 has 3 D graphics and the genetics engine. This is what makes that game very demanding on a computer. You can look at your sims from any angle with close ups but in Sims 1 the graphics are like cartoons in the distance.

Well, The sims 2 is way better..........you can have babies, have a family obviously......its a great game.......you can have wants aspirations.......and tons more......fears.....depending on what expansion packs you get........you can have turn on and offs.......chemistry........it great
