Jerry Falwell is a prominent Southern Baptist Jesus freak, in addition to the whitest man who ever lived. He is famous for making ignorant and offensive pronouncements which are often followed by retractions and halfhearted apologies.
A shining example of this was the statement he made two days after the 9-11 terror attacks, while the wreckage at Ground Zero was still smoking.
I just can't fathom any human being actually listening to this guy's bullshite.

Jerry has been a conservative bible thumping Baptist all his life. He is not an example of what God wants us to use as a role model. He is basically ignorant of the things which make up the truths which God wants us to learn. He is a lot like Pat Robertson whose main purpose in life seems to be to bilk little old ladies out of their savings and any other property they may own. This is not what God wants his ministers to do. Remember that Jesus told us to give unto Caesar what is Caesars and to God what is Gods. Many evangelists bilk people out of money just to make themselves rich. They probably won't end up in heaven. I hope they have asbestos suits.

I'm a Jesus freak myself, and I have little use for Jerry Falwell. He often makes the rest of us look bad.
