I've heard that godaddy.com and 1and1.com are good but what are your opinions?

I use http://www.powweb.com and have never had any MAJOR issues with them for over 7 years.

They have every tool imaginable to run a website.

godaddy's good for domain names, but there are better deals for hosting...
I have heard from a lot of people in the business that dreamhost is incredible.

http://www.getawebpage.net

That site lists the best webhosts in the business.

I'd go with Startlogic or Bluehost
