Okay so your reproductive cycle happens monthly. It's like this - ovulation occurs and the ovary releases an egg. It takes some time to get to the uterus and if it doesn't get fertilized you have a period. If you have normal 28 day cycles, then ovulation occurs exactly 14 days from the 1st day of your last period. That is the day you are most ripe to get pregnant and of course 2-3 days before and after. When ovulation occurs, most women experience a small amount of whitish discharge produced by the hormones that make you ovulate - that whitish discharge protects the sperm to help it get to the egg and survive the ph in the vagina which natually kills them. You're temperature also increases temporarily. So to increase your chances of conceiving you have sex daily within that 4-5 day window around the time of ovulation. If you notice that discharge coming out - have sex right at that time. That is when your chances are best. It is true that sperm live about 72 hours. The ph in the vagina kills them off most of the time if you're not ovulating. If you have a normal 28 day cycle - wait until the first day of your next period. Mark 14 days from that day on your calendar and have sex within 2 days before and after.

Yes, sperm usually live in the woman's body 3-5 days, sometimes as long as a week, but having sex every day will decrease your chances of conceiving. Your man needs some time to generate a fresh, healthy batch of sperm. Most docs will tell you to monitor your body for cues you are ovulating and have sex every other day throughout the month. Try not to get bogged down in the details and numbers, extra stress will tell your body that your environment may be hostile and not ready for a baby and can delay or stop ovulation. Try to chill, and enjoy the sport ;)

yes, sperm can live in you for up to 5 days. There is no reason to do it more than once every day though. You have to let your man catch up. It takes about 24 hours to recharge his sperm count. Every other day is totally sufficient. But just make love when you want to. There is no point in just having S E X to have a baby. A baby must be conceived out of love. Good luck

They're life-span is about a week, but it can only live in the vagina for about a few hours. Plus it all depends some sperm maybe slowly active and may never make it.

Yes, it will increase the chances...
It may live that long, but if your trying to concieve, then you should keep trying! If your partner is willing to try, then try, and your chances will be better...
Good luck!

Yes, that's usually what is reuired to make a baby ;) If you are trying seriously to concieve, track your period. You will likely be most fertile just before it.

You shouldn't have sex eveyday if you want to concieve. You should have it every other day or evey 48 hours.

Having sex is how you get pregnant..... But anyway, we had sex every 3 days, so his little swimmers could build back up. If you wear the poor guy out, it will be harder (to get pregnant, not him).
