It's a trap game for Auburn, but there are a couple of factors that work in our favor:

1) Kenny Irons. At South Carolina, he got ZERO playing time under that incompetent, Lou Holtz. Don't think for a skinny minute that he isn't lusting for a chance to show up his former team.

2) South Carolina's QB Troubles. Auburn uses a very aggressive pass rush, coupled with a bevy off defensive schemes that should confuse an inexperienced quarterback.

3) Auburn knows this is an excellent opportunity to showcase the team. Yea, TCU and BYU are playing tonight as well, but the world will be watching Auburn/USC. So if we win big with major style points, we'll gain a good deal of traction in the BCS, chiefly because nobody wants to see the same team get screwed all over again in a repeat of the 2004 BCS fiasco where Oklahoma performed its traditional pantswetting in the title game.
