I have done this twice, with 2 different ammounts. On a triplebeam scale, I and a friend rustled up and counted out 496 $1 bills; after that, we then went to the bank, bought 5, new, banded $1 bills- 100 ones in each- it only took 492 NEW $1 bills to weigh a pound. So your answer would B, just under $500.......... We have just weighed 1 pound of various bills- 1's 2's 5's 10's 20's 4-50's 3-100's, the total count is 489 - So, we don't know what to tell U about the web site U were told to go to, nor do we really care- but right here, in front of our eyes, and there are 22 eyes looking at it, there are 489 various bills, on a digital scale that reads to 1/10 th of a gram and its reading 16.000 ounces. If you want something done, U gotta do it yourself; don't take someones word or web site. This is the 3rd time 2 of us here has done this, however all 3 times were different (but close) they are a far cry from the low 400's. And to save for argument we had the scale calibrated, or should I say the neighbor did- he's an officer of Scales weights and Measurments here in Texas. So, there U have it
