Everyone keeps ranting about it. Isn't it just a diary on the web?Everyone says it's so addictive etc. am I missing the point here? If I am then what is the point?

Don't worry, youre not missing anything... its just a place were you add someone you know and... well... thats it really... just send some messages... its just the "new" thing... even though its been around for years..

Myspace is a place for bands and artists'. It is also a way for people to find eachother. One of my friends found an old friend on myspace. It just takes safety percautions. You should keep your profile on private. Never put any info about where you live and how to contact you. It is a really cool site and many people are on it. We also chat with one another and send messages.

Myspace is a huge online community aimed mainly at teenagers and young adults.I think the emphasis is on social 'networking',music etc.
It claims to have over 100 million members,however I just read that the actual number of 'active' users is probably half this number.

Ever on condition that i changed into little and til this present day i have continuously called my mum "Mummy" and my dad "Daddy". merely because they in no way replied to "mum"/"dad". and that is continuously stuck, i assume. similar with my siblings, too. I swear each and every time my mom calls me at artwork, and that i answer declaring "hi, mummy", i'm getting the most strangest looks from my artwork colleagues. They continuously locate that hilarious and frequently take the mic. and that i visit definitely see why that is humorous lol yet, that is in no way replaced, and that i doubt that is going to. father and mom will continuously be Mummy and Daddy. And fairly because they gained't respond to at least something else from their babies! : )

i think some people waaay overestimate it, but you underestimate it. ive become closer with ( and found) cousins and friend who i havent seen for years. its great. sadly its kind of a popularity race for some people, but its another email account and a place to waste ur time on if your bored. what people mean by it being addictive is constantly checking to see if they have new comments or friend requests on it. but the stupid thing is, some people try to meet up with strangers, like the idiots they are.

Myspace and ALL other sites like it are a bordello for pedofiles to pray on naive teenagers and idiotic individuals who think they KNOW everything.

myspace is a great website! you should join! you can find OLD and new friends b/c everyone is on myspace! i have found almost all my old high school and college buddies... people i thought i would never see again.. and i have myspace to thank for that.

Yeah, it's sort of overrated. I had one for a while, but I sort of got tired of it and my mom didn't want me doing it anyway. I didn't find it that exciting.
