have HP dv5000 laptop, newbie. AT a loss!

I am very new to computing. It takes just about all day to search how to do something and possibly do it. I do get side-tracked.

go to http://www.limewire.com and download the free version. It's an awesome shareware program that lets you download anything you want for FREE. Just search by file type, and bandname, or song title. It's the best in my opinion, and has NO spyware bundled in it.

Good Notebook.
Lots of discs of what?
Download music you can chose lots of sites from.
Paysites are plentiful on the web.
Then there are the P2P download sites, they work like NAPSTER,
but now in wake of the many lawsuits they have become more
careful.
Even so you still can download from many sites.

Put the empty disc into your drive. Open media player. Click burn a list of your songs should appear, check the ones you want to copy then click burn.

search on google or yahoo, put on like mp3 songs for free... or go to mp3shits.com
you can get songs from here and downloads are a lot faster!!!!

get limewire it is free and u can download unlimited for free
