I can't stand Ice tea, so I would have never asked for it. However, if you asked for something in a reatuarant and it wasn't what you expected, then for sure you should send it back. You want ice, make them go and put ice in it. It's not like you are asking them to make it again.

Only if it wasn't cold, Ice after all may just dilute the tea and give you less tea (do you want to pay for tea or ice).

No, I order it that way, with a glass of ice too. That way, when you put sugar in it, it melts. ( if you like sweet tea )
Then add ice as needed !
( sugar won't melt in ice tea )

Hell Yes! Its ICE tea..and why do they always bring it to you warm and your ice melts right away and when you ask for a glass of ICE..they ask if you want water in that....

ice tea does not necessarily mean to see some ice floating on ur tea.
its cold tea but to make u happy you could politely ask for some ice.
