Hello Cathy,

What an at home party career will offer you: flexibility!!!, earning $ immediately that night (with some companies), bonuses on top of that, advancement, a support network, traveling, tax benefits.

Info on my company - The Body Shop retail stores have started an at home division. We offer 4 different themes for Girls Nite Out - Spa Experience, Peppermint Foot Fun, Your Face is Forever & Make Me Fabulous. I have been doing this for 1 1/2 yrs. My 1st month, I made $500 doing 1 Girls Nite Out (gno) a week with 4 hrs/wk of my time. I now keep a schedule of 2-3 a wk & make $1500-2000 a month with just 12-15 hours of my time. I have gotten such a wonderful response & how much people love to get together, relax with friends & get completely pampered while they shop. I love my job. Here is my link if you want more information www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/carey

Good luck in your search & do lots of research. I would be happy to talk to you if you need help. Thanks, Carey

If you want to be your OWN boss, not "work" for a multilevel marketing "plan" (MLM), then I suggest you check out SMC! :)

http://www.smcorp.com

Notice the link I post does NOT have any affiliate crap attached? :)

You can sell SMC anytime, anywhere, and YOU are the boss, no one to answer to!

They have about 3,000 products, more I think, and most are really nice, some are junk, but YOU will have to decide that :)

It costs about $350 to initially start out (the first year), but then it's only $39 per year to keep your membership, and from that, you get 2 major catalog packets through the year.

They will dropship the products to your customers to, so you never even have to touch the freight! :)

HOWEVER, i strongly suggest you do order some products yourself, so that YOU can see the quality, or not, of various products. For example, the kitchen pots and pans, NO WAY! You can do better at Wal-Mart! But, the dolls, and knick knacks are really nice for the most part, and they also recently started carrying a lot of bath/body products, and NFL/NASCAR licensed products, as well as "Garfield", "Disney", etc!!!!!

I have been a member since 1999, and believe it or not, have NEVER actually started my own business, not yet anyway, but do buy stuff for gifts! :)

They will explain how to sell at home in house party fashion, and/or swap meet fashion, etc!

Good luck, and have fun! :)

Make sure you sell something people really want. Not something your friends buy because they feel like they have to. One of my favorite parties to go to are Pampered Chef. I've had three parties at my house over the last 15 years because my friends want to buy it, and they know I have a friend who sells. Do not sell- Candle lite, Baskets, Most skin care that is expensive. People hate going to those parties.
