pilots have to have perfect vision....
what if you are a pilot and wearing contact lens..what would happen if they fall off suddenly or irritate your eyes....
u will probably crash somewhere before you can see properly
that's y pilots need perfect vision

I've seen pilots with big, thick glasses. Oh, except the kind that fly tactical military aircraft like F-16's and such. They can't even have LASIK.

Good question. You might want to check with the FAA. I think, though, if you can be in the Army with glasses, contacts can't be that big a transgression.
