The clarinet is considered a woodwind instrument, and the trombone is considered part of the brass section of the band, or a brass instrument. They also provide some of the bass in the band. Hope this helps!

i'm a bassoon participant. 10 years in the past when I went to intense college i did tuba in marching band. if i had to %. between clarinet and trombone i'd say trombone. in case you quite love track it shouldn't remember it really is far less complicated it would in worry-free words understand that you opt to play.
