The pointing of the finger of Racism as a response to a situation which is not entirely in your favour is childish and ridiculous and has no place in our modern world and certainly not in sport! As a South African we have learnt this and are still learning this the hard way. You need to get off your high horse and realise that the ICC does what it can to tackle racism and they are in fact made up of members representing Asian countries. I challenge you to prove your point and present any evidence proving that Asian cricketers have been severely punished for an offence which an Australian or any other cricketer for that matter has not been punished or "hardly" punished as you so wonderfully put it.

This was in no sense a racially based decision. The chair of the disciplinary committee was Asian! He made the decision. Given the seriousness of the offence I think Inzy was a very lucky man indeed! Think about it. Never in the history of Test match cricket has a captain refused to take the field. Hey we all play and see some complete jerks umpiring who give atrocious decisions but we get on with it...just as Inzy should have done... got on with it, won the test match and then go to the appeal! The enquiry result then? No ban, Inzy found innocent and Hare made to look the idiot he must be.

You can't be serious ! Look at the ICC's appalling mistreatment of Darrell Hair...!!! It's clear that simply for sticking like glue to the long-established letter of the game's laws - (exactly what all umpires are supposed to do...!) - this first-class Aussie umpire has been sacrificed on the alter of political "correctness."
Hair DID NOT penalise the Pakistani team for ball-tampering... but for their collective REFUSAL to resume play - and only after TWICE asking them to return to the pitch...!
Yet this excellent umpire is to be the one singled out for meaningful punishment, while the real transgressor is all-but exonerated and the rest of his team escape scott-free.
Naturally, Pakistanis always potest at the recurring implication that their's is a nation innately given to deception... for the very obvious reason that the implication happens to be accurate...!

That is not racial. Australia has always been able to walk the thin line with all other countries. Even their umpires are seemingly above the code of conduct.

Why should they? Because a decision completely unrelated to race was rendered and you don't like it? What the hell does the color of someones skin have to do with cricket? Absolutely nothing. The only people in the world who perpetuate racism are people like you who can't get past the petty things and can see only one thing and nothing more - skin color. You sound like the foul racist to me.

Oh f^ck up and die will you. Get over it. There are plenty of occasions were Australian players have been punished. It is well know that "Asian" teams flaunt the laws. Whenever one of them gets busted, they can't howl racism faster enough.

i totally agree with u!!
in the dlf cup-in the 2nd match between india and aussies-
sachin was first given out wrong on which no action was taken against the umpire, however, sachin was called back!!
dhoni was also given out on a no ball by brett lee!!
harbhajan was also given out caught behind but,the ball did not touch his bat!!!
there was no action taken against the wrong dercisions of the umpire-asad rauf!
i always think that icc is harsh towards asaian countries cuz they are blacks!!!the other countries such as aussies, england etc. are never warned for such wrong doings!!the reason i think is that they are much rich than asians, they are whites and their lifestyles are more developed!!!
i wanna meet u to discuss hard on this issue but cannot!!!
i sometimes feel very angry for icc's such behaviour!

Well my friend... Asian are considered to be Blacks as u have rightly mentioned.
Since the very beginning there has been discrimination & I'm sure this is gonna last...
ICC cannot be declared as a Racist Body because Asians are a part of them....

the only decision which was affected by race was leniency on inzy, because a harsher decision would have the whole of asia up in arms

its not that IC is racist as an organization...but some officials are racist and v have clearly seen in the past...ICC had been taking discrimnatory actions againstasians....this is on record...otherwise the attitude of australian players on the cricket ground with other players and even with umpires is the worst...anybody remember Mcgrath spitting on lara n ponting arguing with umpires dozens of time...but they hardly face any bans...lets admit...that if not racist...ICC does have some black sheep
