It can look extremely hot and even classic but it can also look horrible.
If you are honestly height and weight proportionate and have the right "attitude" then you can carry it off. But remember, leather is expensive so go classic (no adornment) and take a friend who will honestly tell you how it looks.
As far as age is concerned. I have seen women in their 60's look great in leather and I have seen girls in their 20's look dreadful.
You decide for yourself if it works for you

I work at a pretty high fashion clothing store & the pencil skirt is the most flattering skirt you can get, as far as black leather it would depend where you were gonna wear it to. You could totally pull it off if you dress it up or down for the occasion. I think the accessories will have a lot to do with how it looks. Right now it seems like the 80's look is comming back...im sure i could put a great outfit together for yah! lol I say go for it....

It depends on the hardware on the skirt and what you're intended use of the skirt is. If you work in a pretty casual office and aren't a manager or owner, then yeah! Go for the skirt. If the skirt doesn't have obnoxiously large metal baubles, zippers, buttons or adornments, then it would be great! But, if you're buying it to wear to a conservative office or job, I say as cute as you may think it is, it's a no-go.

Cute except the leather part. A leather pencil skirt- no. If it wasn't leather, yes

It depends on where you are going to wear the skirt. Clubbing...ok. Anywhere else...ick.

i don't like leather anythings...other than nice black leather jackets. younger ppl...like in 20s can pull it off...but if you're older i don't think leather is all that in.
