I think this is one of the best questions I've heard.....er......read. I think I'll put it to my 3rd graders. We're doing a unit on nutrition right now. I'll bet they'll be hard put to describe it. Thanks fo putting this out there!! For me, a banana has a light, subtle taste that nearly tastes like there is a tiny tad of vanilla in there somewhere. But that comes from a Grandma's tastebuds. It might be more memory than actuality! :-)

it depands on the how old it is. I buy bananas when their old becasue a cook once tolled me the sugar in a banana is at its highest.It just taste better that way?
