When you buy it, send in the warranty as soon as possible. My first one screwed up on me and I managed to switch it out at Wal-Mart, saving me over 160 bucks. Repairs cost at least 100 dollars so I think spending a little extra on the two-year warranty is reasonable. Good luck if you have to call customer service, too. Most times of the day, the operators are Middle-Eastern. Nothing against them, but I really hate not being able to fix a problem because of a lack of communication.

If you decide to get one, here are some awesome games to try:
Perfect Dark Zero
Far Cry Instincts: Predator
ChromeHounds
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Hope to see you on some time

I don't have one but my cousin does. But there are 2 things you should know about it
1.it doesn't have a fan to cool the system down but you can buy one at gamestop/other places
2. it has defects like my cousin when he got his own he was downloading the halo 2 multiplayer map pack cd.It suddenly shut down and whatever its called where you put the cd it wouldn't open. He got a new one but he never got the halo 2 map pack cd back.

Yes I believe I have a good answer, DON"T buy it , save your money for the PS3 I am, I think that you will enjoy that much better. lol, I guess the prices make it hard to decide because you want to make the best choice. Well I know that I will be getting the PS3 and probably the wii just because that one will not be expensive. anyways enjoy

I usually wait till about a year or a lil more until they got it perfect (no bugs, ETC.), But one of my friends got one & it went A-Wol, it wouldn't read any of the discs. Also The ps3 has the same motion detector thingy as the wii (it's not just tilt) So suckit WII lovers

My nephew got one last christmas and something has gone wrong with it twice. He's had to return it to the store both times and get a new one, and it doesn't seem like there was a lot of games to play out yet on it.
