Some say they know people as early as 14 weeks who could tell, is this true?

20 weeks. My doc. and the hospital I chose said that before that you cant really know because if its a boy it may not be enough time for his body parts to develope, and so it may look like a girl. Just give it some time you will eventually be able to tell. Hope everything works out well for you.

the earlies is about 18 weeks through ultrasound but there is a procedure that can be done which is cvs done between 11 and 13 weeks this test can tell the sex of the baby along with any presence of genetic abnormalities. but no way through ultrasound at 14 weeks.

With my first .... 6 months was when I found out I was having a girl. With my second ... 13 weeks and 3 days was when I found out and got an ultrasound pic proving the baby was a boy. And with my fourth .... I was about 32 weeks cuz she wouldnt cooperate. But my doctor said he knew when I was about 4 months but I was having alot of issues with the pregnancy that he didn't want me to bond with the baby in case I lost her. (My third was a miscarriage in the 4th month.)

12 if you're lucky, we found out at 12, but that's only with a perfect shot!! More likely between 18 and 20 weeks at the 2nd ultrasound.

I went to my 17 week ultrasound for measurements of my daughter and the girl who was doing the ultrasound knew when she was doing the measurements. Sometimes they may not be able to tell, depending on if the baby is cooperative.

I heard about 18-20 weeks. I found out I was having a boy at 18 weeks.

If you know the tech personally she may guess as early as 13 -14 weeks. generally speaking you usually have to be like a tiny girl 120 pounds or less for this to happen.

I was 16 weeks with my girls and 14 weeks with my boy. But it all depends on who does your ultra sound, and how long they have been doing it. Experience is what it takes to spot certain things. But if you want the most correct time to go off of, you need to wait to be sure on your week 20 visit. Good luck

28 for my daughter (she wouldnt coaperate at 21 weeks)
14 with my son and it was confirmed at 21 weeks
All 4 were thru ultrasound

I found out the sex of my baby when i was about 19 weeks along...it's about 18-20 weeks...
