The hardest thing about having a newborn is that your entire life is not the same anymore. It has been turned upside down. You are now responsible for this little life. You are on their schedule now. Waking up at all hours of the night, learning what their cries mean and getting frustrated when you can't stop them from crying are a few things that are hard. The easiest thing about having a baby is just watching them grow up before your very eyes and seeing all the knew things that they do everyday. From their first smile to saying their first word. All of these are precious to me.

The easiest thing about having a newborn is loving them!!:) The hardest thing is leaving them. :( I've never been apart from my now 6 month old for more than a few hours. I never thought that it would be like this. Enjoy your baby :)

Hardest thing or THINGS..... heeheh The first few weeks was the constant nursing, lack of sleep and interruptions by visitors who didn't call first (resorted to putting a note on the door to come back later) Adjusting to being a mother and still trying to be a wife. Easiest was looking at that little tiny face and smiling, how could something so small bring so much joy/love into your life.

Hardest for me was the lack of sleep that I was getting. I worked 12 hr rotating shifts with my first 2 pregnancies. It was so hard for me to get to sleep anyways, and then to have a newborn..oh my..
Easiest- Everyone is willing to help when it is a newborn baby. When they get to crawling and being somewhat mobile.... finding sitters isnt as easy. Everyone likes to watch the ever sleeping baby.
I wish you the best. My 3 children have given me so much in my life. I wouldnt trade them or the lack of sleep for anything.

the hardest things were know what was wrong when he cried. it is crazy but true that you do learn what each cry means. and learning to function on no sleep. you walk around in a daze.
the best and the easiest things have been everything else. he is just so incredible and i love being with him.

The hardest for us was dealing with the lack of sleep and the frustration that it caused. The easiest was being able to sit and relax while breastfeeding because while I was doing that I didn't have to worry about anything else.

The hardest thing was the growth spurts, wondering why he wanted to nurse all the time. No one told me about these.

The easiest was realizing you could love something as much as you do this new child and how completely changed your life had become, knowing how you now couldn't live without this new baby.

Toughest of all was adjusting to the changes a new baby brought, most especially the sleep deprivation. Easiest was falling in love with them!

hardest: sleep, my baby woke up every 2-3 hours to feed... that was so hard!!!
easiest: just being with your baby and enjoying it...its the most wonderful thing EVER!!!

the hardest thing was the lack of sleep. everyone tells you to get as much sleep as you can before they arrive and you half-heartedly listen. but it never really hits homes until you've only had 20 hours of sleep in one week. another hard thing is tying to figure out a new babies schedule. it took us months to figure ours son's out. the easiest things were automatic. getting him to sleep and eat, the things he did on his own anyway.
