well gloss isn't colored so just a flavored clear should be safe. If you get a colored gloss a light pink is good for all skin tones.

Since your skin is a nice darker tone, I think maybe a softer pink/clear gloss (not lipstick!) to bring out your complexion, and give your facial features a softer look.

Go with a color that is slightly darker than ur skin tone---go over again with a clear gloss.

Try Revlon's Superlustrous Lipgloss in "Nude Lustre". It has a very pink, nude, volumous effect on your lips and would go great with your skin tone. That line also has other colors that are great like the Coral and Peach Plum.

Clear...it works for everyone.
Besides you can wear your regular lipstick under it and apply clear gloss on top to make it pop!

You have a darker skin tone so you should go for nutrial shades, like browns and such. That should good aggainst your skin.

try a light pink or peachyish color with some sparkle.not mega sparkle-but subtle sparkle. victorias secret has some good gloss. hope i helped!
