Well, I would wait until after Homecoming to talk to him. I know exactly what you mean, I am sort of in the same boat! If he flirts with you, than I would say he has some feelings for you. Just wait until after Homecoming and definitely talk to him.

If he liked you, then you would be the one going to homecoming with him, don't waste your time on that one, Be brave and ask a guy to go with you, all he can do is say no, right.

ask him if he's interested in you but don't ask him to take you to homecoming, that's not nice to the girl he's going with. maybe you guys can hang out afterwards or even during if you already have a date. just make sure you don't alienate your dates! that way if he isn't interested, you can still hang out as friends.
