Cloths shrink because you probally put them in the drier too much so if you don't want it to shrink than just put it on a hanger and let it dry.

its the fabrics that they are made of cotton, jeans and wool are some of the fabrics that shrink, but what i do to prevent them from shrinking is hang them to dry after i wash them jeans shrink but once you wear them for a few hours i noticed that they return to their regular size. its the dryer it has nothing to do with the washer.

one thing that shrinks them the most is the dinning room table. that cause more clothes to ghet too small than anyother thing. Next if you dry them or wash in hot water and rinse in cold water .

maybe your clothes shrink because they are in cold water.

it depends on the fabric. Natural fabrics like cotton do shrink. You should try buying pre-shrunk fabrics.

it depends on the quality.

if you get a shirt from pennys it will shrink. but if you get it from hollister, it wont shrink.

either b/c u're growing out of them, or b/c you're not washing them according to the direction of that tag that just itches your back!...that's y it's there.
