I've suffered from acne since middle school & STILL have it....I'm 23! I've managed to make my face look MUUUUCH better by using the following three items in the order listed EVERY time I cleanse my face: Purpose brand gentle cleansing bar, neutrogena healthy skin face lotion (w/ spf 15) & either clean & clear persa-gel 10 or Oxy Max 10% Benzoyl Peroxide lotion (little black bottle w/ metallic red on the label). You can find them all at a grocery store, Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc. I use those products & follow the regimen I read about here http://www.acne.org/regimen.html & have had amazing results!
Note: It says to use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide but I use 10% & haven't had any irritation.

pimples are an inflammation of your sebaceous follicles when they modify into blocked, frequently by useless pores and skin cells or airborne dirt and dirt. As someone who had truly undesirable pimples as a teen I realized that holding you're face clean is better effective then any product available. i'd recommend washing your face two times an afternoon with undeniable cleansing soap and warm water(warm water opens up your pores and helps the you to get the upward push in them). once you've finished rinse your face in chilly water (this can close the pores). Then prepare any style of moisturizer( this can create a barrier between your pores and skin and any airborne dirt and dirt or debris that could clog your pores), Gillett has an exceedingly reliable moisturizer that facilitates tone the exterior and eliminate pimples scars.

Proactive may work for some people but not all, plus it keeps coming in every month whether you want it or not, but waht really works for me is Duac it is a dermotologist recomended and works fast and only has one step and not 3 like proactive.
