is this normal>? it hurts to lay down as well...i feel pain in the outer region of the vagina

All of your abdominal muscles are getting back to normal as well as your vagina and uterus. Warm compresses and laying on your left side really do work. Try walking with a towel wrapped up and hold it on your abdominal area while walking. Good Luck!

ask a health visitor or doctor so they can monitor the pain ask u to give pain levels best and worst sort of thing just incase it is a serious prob dont wana worry u but u ha just had a kid it could be any number of things but if it is a bad thing then u dont want to suffer in silence ive read many a magazine artical of women who hav suffered for years i know givin bitrth is painful i been there and i would keep an eye on thigs so any probs could b sorted does it hurt wen u pee could b water infection if u get bit smelly down there too that could b an infection take wat say lightly dont want to worry u but b responsible for ur body it gota last ya so check it out

Did you have stiches , they hurt for a week or 2 after, Go see your doc again right away, Have it checked out ,
You could have picked up a virus, and that would be pain full.

yes it will be painful for awhile until you heal especially if you had stitches. Your body has been through a lot and needs time to get better. I dont remember how long it takes to heal because its been about 6 years since my last. Just give it time. good luck and congrats!

my best friend had the same pains when after she gave birth. but after a while, it goes away.
