How do I remove stock handle grips off of a Suzuki Boulevard C50 motorcycle? I want to replace the stock grips with new set of Kuryakyn ISO Grips. I am not able to cut off the grips as stated in the Kuryakyn website. Thanks for your time and effort in answering this question.

If you have access to an air compressor. Pull the grip and blow them off with a blow gun.
Or
Wedge a long thin screw driver into the grip.
Spray "contact/brake cleaner" in (can get at any bike or auto parts store). Insert the screw driver in another spot and keep repeating while twisting the grip. The contact cleaner will dissolve the glue. When you get the grip off, trim anything remaining with a razor blade.
Use "grip glue" on the new grips (get it from the shop where you bought the grips).

Lift the corner of the grip and fire some compressed air in there and pull. Stock ones will come right off. If they are aftermarket ones that have been glued on you'll be stuck scraping them off.

My hubby had to put new grips on his DRZ400 E,
What a P I T A!
he tried to cut them off,
then had to pull off the pieces with pliers.

The new grips went over the remenants that were left.

I've used compressed air, WD-40 or a razor knife to remove grips.

Cut and pull with the aid of a hot air gun, the factory glue can be a *****. you'll probably end up shaving the glue off.
