I would prefer a military coup to the Bush administration. Marshal Law 100% draft, with no excuses.

But a return to the first Congressional pay system would be fine with me. $5.00 a day if they show up and work all day.

You say regular, everyday Americans and you throw Clinton into the mix? When did he ever have a job in the private sector? When did Ted Kennedy ever have a job in the private sector? When did Al Gore ( as he once was elected) ever have a job in the private sector? George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Tom Delay, just to name a few, all have worked in the private sector. The problem is with career politicians. I agree that the salary for politicians, especially on the federal level, should be cut or reduced immediately to force these people to work for a living, rather than live it up on your and mine tax dollars. Well, at least mine because with your intellect, it doesn't seem like you probably pay too much income tax.
As far as "rich people" that can afford running for office, unless you are a moron, you obviously know many lib-socialist dems are millionaires.

Ho, ho, ho!
Clinton--- an everyday people??????????
Clinton NEVER worked a single day in his life!
He lived off taxpayers from the time he left home.
He's always been a user, never a giver.
He's uses and abuses. And betrays anyone who trusts him.
(Only foreigners use the term NeoCons.)
Do you support terrorism against us?
If You were using satire, and I missed it. Or, more likely, you live in a Muslim country and hate America.

if they want to rule it should be voluntary, and with good intention to make some good changes that will make America better. We cant have libs, the ones who only care about the power and the money they recieve, be in power, they will tax us to death to pay for thier vacations.

I have never seen him post that comment...do you have a link of proof?
_ well i see he said it here. I don't normally agree with him (as he can attest to that) but I must agree with that being a positive possibility for politics and the people they represent in general.
