Knowing how to count is a great start. Probably some business courses at a local community college or business college would help.

What you have to know is almost nothing. Where I live a bank teller is hired off the street with a high school diploma. They do not make huge money. Probably slightly above minimum wage. You do need to be able to count change and have some basic computer skills.

To be a bank officer you should take business and finance classes in college.

How to count money.

A college degree in business or accounting would help.

The bank probably has their own training center.

I believe they do an honesty test and a few math questions to see if you can count. But otherwise they train you for this type of job.

No, you just have to have some minor computer skills and be able to count and balance your till. It is more on the job training.
