Your body found a new cigarette-free equilibrium (quite quickly I must say). So cigarettes, again are foul, bad for the system and treated as such.
But if you force your body to accept cigarettes, it will.
So, please don't push it, unless you want the pain associated with it.
Personally, anytime I engage in excesses, my body will simply give bad signals if I come near what I have an excess of, whether I was binge drinking the night before (or 2 nights before), or ate too much meat recently.
Our bodies are machines that try to maintain as healthy an equilibrium depending on what we do. So that explains the reactions you've been having. It is a good thing :)

You NEVER give up smoking... You have had 2 puffs of a cigarette... so you still are a smoker!
Not counting that as smoking you are still a smoker that hasn't smoked a full cigarette since August...
It takes great will power and is beneficial, not only to you, but also to those around you... don't give up..
I have taken all sorts in my short life and have been in rehab a couple of times... I have now been clean for 18 months and regret that I did not stay clean first time around... peer pressure [friends!], club scene etc. - It nearly cost me everything...
Be strong... any addiction needs constant willpower...

i gave up smoking in December and was doing so well then had a bit of a stressful time at easter and ended up having a drag of a friends ciggy. It tasted discusting and i was almost sick then i forgot that feeling took another drag and ended up smoking again! It is not a failure to have a relapse it is what you do after that relapse i was weak and ended up smoking again as i thought that is it I have failed.I had not failed now I have given up again and have not touched one for four months.
DO NOT take this as a failure and PLEASE carry on and give up.

It's not about the taste, it's about the nicotine. Stay away from the smokes or you will be right back at it. It's really a lifetime effort, easier as time goes by, but even after years of not smoking, people report that they still get the urge at times....

Everyone's diff. I never wanted one again when I finally had had enough - and I quit a bunch of times before that. It did coincide with a radical improvement in my life, which helped. And, yeah, they just disgusted me after that.
